This new pump from Melling SELECT fits all 4.6 and 5.4 3V SOHC and 4V DOHC engines. This pump is supplied with chrome moly billet steel rotors (130,000psi tensile strength) and is for HIGH volume applications. It comes standard with a high pressure spring, but includes an optional lower pressure spring. It has an anodized hard coated body and a phosphate coated cover. The cover plate is precision ground cast iron. Works with 15/16" diameter pickup screens. The back plate of this pump is machined from billet steel so it will not flex and cause internal leakage. This pump also includes the special BILLET GEARS for no worry lasting performance! NOTE: 4.6 and 5.4 2V applications may use this pump but must use an appropriate 15/16" (Cobra size) pickup.
