Our ALL NEW ModMax FORGED 4340 Crankshafts for 4.6L engines are a must when adding horsepower to your Modular engine. These cranks feature Non-Twist 4340 forgings for high strength and durability. They are precision machined and micro polished and feature heat treating as well as ION NITRIDING for hardness. This model is a STROKER 3.750" crank for a STROKER KIT installation for any 4.6 engine using special connecting rods and pistons. It has added material and additional center counterweights and is designed to be internally balanced. The cranks feature a "RACING" type journal finish with full radii extending from journals to the counterweights so some bearings MAY need to be chamfered to clear correctly. These cranks have been used in 1000+ horsepower engines with no failures. NOTE: These cranks have 8 bolt flywheel flanges so you may need to purchase the correct flywheel or flexplate if your current engine has a 6 bolt crank.
