MODMAX Complete Timing Kit 5.4 SOHC 2V 97-01
Our complete timing kits are designed to include everything you need to freshen up your Modular performance engine. These kits all include the more desirable STEEL Ratcheting type chain tensioners. Please make sure your engine is designed to use these components as there are several different kits available for different years and applications. This kit has the following features:
IMPORTANT FITMENT NOTES:- Many 5.4 Engines had INTEGRATED Camshaft gears on the camshafts and DO NOT have replaceable cam gears. This kit is perfect for installing aftermarket camshafts or fitting camshafts that require cam gears.
- Factory engines can use a THICK or THIN lower crank gear. This kit includes: THIN crank gear to work with thick steel reluctor wheel
